UN!MEETING Anatomy of Innovation in Medicine

No!MEETING “The Anatomy of Innovation in Medicine” will take place on March 5, 2020, starting at 4:00 PM (registration). It will present, through an unconventional format, the opportunities for creating innovations in medicine in Bulgaria for students from various disciplines at the Medical University of Sofia.

The event will officially open with H.E. Muriel Berset Cohen, Ambassador of Switzerland to Bulgaria, who will highlight the importance of innovation in today’s world for the development of healthcare. Dr. Rosen Dimitrov from Novartis Bulgaria will also participate, presenting an “anatomy” of innovations in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Mira Ganova, Director of the Bulgarian Cluster for Digital Solutions and Innovations in Healthcare, will emphasize data-driven and technology-based healthcare. Milena Stoycheva, CEO of Junior Achievement Bulgaria, will share advice on business modeling for innovations in medicine.

Over the course of two hours, we will showcase best practices from practicing healthcare innovators and discuss trends in the development of technological and business innovations in medicine, both in Bulgaria and globally, with our inspiring guests. The event will also include a platform for Q&A and discussions in a pleasant atmosphere at the Museum of the Department of Anatomy at the Medical University of Sofia.

The event is organized by Junior Achievement Bulgaria with the support of Novartis Bulgaria and in collaboration with the Bulgarian Cluster for Digital Solutions and Innovations in Healthcare as part of the European Entrepreneurship Education Network.

This meeting is a continuation of the pilot course “Entrepreneurship. Innovation. Digitalization.”, which took place in 2019 and will see further development in 2020.
