Top Hospital Service joined DHI Cluster last year. We spoke with the CEO Ivaylo Batinkov to learn more about the company’s story and its vision for the future.

How would you describe your company to someone who has never heard of it? What inspired you to create it?

Top Hospital Service is a company dedicated to introducing modern medical technologies that make doctors’ work easier and improve the quality of healthcare. The inspiration to create it came from the need for hospitals to have a reliable partner who not only delivers equipment but also ensures full support and expertise.

What is the main need or problem that you solve with your products or services, and who are the main users?

The main issue we address is the lack of integrated and reliable solutions in the hospital environment. Our clients are hospitals, doctors, and medical teams, but ultimately, the biggest beneficiaries are the patients - because they receive faster, more accurate, and higher-quality medical care.

Tell us about your main product or solution. What makes it innovative and how does it change the reality of healthcare?

Our focus is on modern hospital systems - from operating rooms and sterilization units to digital monitoring and diagnostic solutions. The innovation lies in our holistic approach - we integrate the technologies and guarantee their long-term support. This saves time and resources for hospitals and ensures a higher standard of treatment.

In how many and which countries do you operate? What attracts you to these markets, and what challenges do you face there?

In addition to Bulgaria, we have partnerships in several countries in the Southeast European region. These markets are dynamic and have a strong need for modernization of healthcare systems. The main challenge is the different regulations and the speed at which institutions adopt new technologies.

In your opinion, what are the most serious challenges facing healthcare systems today, and how does your solution contribute to overcoming them?

The biggest challenges are the shortage of resources and specialists, as well as the urgent need for digitalization. Our solutions help through automation, efficiency, and optimization of processes - allowing doctors to dedicate more time to patients.

What motivated you to join the Digital Health and Innovation Cluster (DHI Cluster)?

I believe the future of healthcare lies in digitalization and innovation. Joining DHI Cluster allows us to be part of a community that creates synergy between companies and institutions and contributes to the transformation of the healthcare sector in Bulgaria.

What are your goals for the next 1-3 years?

Our goals are related to expanding our product portfolio, entering regional markets more actively, and playing a stronger role in the digitalization processes of healthcare in Bulgaria. We aim to be not just a supplier, but a strategic partner for hospitals.

How do you envision the future of healthcare 10 years from now, and what role will your company play in it?

Ten years from now, I see healthcare based on digital technologies, telemedicine, and integrated hospital solutions. The role of Top Hospital Service will be to provide the platforms and equipment that make this transformation possible - to ensure the link between modern technology and the everyday work of doctors.
