The Bulgarian Digital Cluster held a webinar focused on telemedicine

The Bulgarian Cluster for Digital Solutions and Innovations in Healthcare held a webinar on the topic: TELEMEDICINE – From CRISIS MANAGEMENT to EFFECTIVE HEALTHCARE on May 12 (Tuesday), from 16:30 to 17:45.

The forum brought together entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders in the digitalization of healthcare in Bulgaria. The event showcased the progress in the development of the Bulgarian digital health ecosystem, which provides various technologies and innovative approaches benefiting doctors, patients, and supporting the sustainable development of the healthcare system.

The webinar presented specific digital health solutions for remote care. Participants had the opportunity to explore technological platforms for physical distancing of patients, such as online consultations and communication between doctor and patient, online appointment scheduling calendars, innovative personal monitors for tracking vital signs of patients at home, thermal cameras for monitoring and predicting patients’ conditions, trends in clinical trials and their adaptation to crisis conditions, comprehensive outpatient solutions to optimize patient treatment and doctors’ work, and more.

All these technologies are available in Bulgaria and are working to ensure patients’ access to quality medical care, even during a crisis.
